Acceptance of Terms

By engaging CanaBuild Group for any renovation, construction, or project management services, you ("the Client") agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. These terms constitute a legally binding agreement between the Client and CanaBuild Group.

We reserve the right to modify these terms at any time. Significant changes will be communicated via the contact information provided during your initial consultation or estimate request.

Scope of Services

Residential Renovation

Comprehensive interior and exterior remodeling, including structural modifications, finishes, and custom millwork tailored to private dwellings.

Commercial Build

Full-scale construction and fit-outs for retail, office, and industrial spaces, adhering to specific commercial zoning and safety regulations.

The specific deliverables for each project will be defined in a separate Statement of Work (SOW) or Project Contract. Any deviations from the agreed SOW will require a signed Change Order.

Client Obligations

  • check_circle Providing timely access to the project site during agreed-upon working hours.
  • check_circle Securing necessary homeowner association (HOA) approvals or neighbor permissions where applicable.
  • check_circle Ensuring the site is clear of personal property that may obstruct construction work.
  • check_circle Maintaining clear and prompt communication regarding design decisions and material selections.

Estimates & Pricing

All estimates provided are valid for a period of 30 days from the date of issue. Prices are subject to change based on market fluctuations in material costs beyond this window.

Payment Schedule

Deposit
Required to secure project dates and order long-lead materials.
Progress
Installments billed upon completion of specific milestones.
Final
Due immediately upon substantial completion of the project.

Liability Limitations

CanaBuild Group maintains comprehensive general liability insurance. However, our liability is limited to the total value of the contract for the specific project in question.

We are not liable for pre-existing structural defects discovered during demolition unless specifically noted in the inspection.

Delays caused by force majeure, extreme weather, or global supply chain disruptions are excluded from liability.

Governing Law

Jurisdiction of Ontario

These Terms of Service and any separate agreements whereby we provide you Services shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Province of Ontario, Canada. Any legal actions or proceedings shall be brought exclusively in the courts of Ontario.
